Since 1990, Chiles diverse landscapes - from the Atacama Desert in the north to the Lakes Region in the south, and from the Pacific Coast in the west to the Andes in the East - have served as the settings for the majority of Teresa Mollers projects. This diversity means that she approaches each project by first examining the valuable elements that already exist at a site and assessing the natural surroundings, the local ecology, and the local architecture, thus making each project the direct and unique result of its environment.
