In 1955 Lisa Larson made her debut as a designer in Gustavsberg's porcelain factory with a collection of animal figures in dark, brown stoneware. These were quickly followed by other ceramic figures, and within a few years she had emerged as one of Sweden's best loved ceramic artists. Sixty years later the success continues. This time in Japan, where her expressive, humorous figures are being widely hailed a success.
