Through a series of remarkable examples of religious architecture, in chronological order and fully illustrated, this book shows the different paths and expressions of constructions for the faith on a continent like the Americas where Christianity and especially Catholicism can be considered as elements of their identity. Many of the buildings included have such iconic character up to the point that not only illustrate the paths of the modernization of the ritual spaces and constructive forms, they identified largely Latin American modern architecture.
